Tent temple "under the bell" in the Amur region.

The project of this small modern temple was made for the village of Novinka of the Blagoveshchensk district of the Amur region. The type of church under the bell was widely used in Russian church architecture at the end of the XV — first half of the XVI century. A distinctive feature of a temple of the type "similar to the bells" is that the ringing tier in it is built over the very premises of the temple. These original structures are peculiar only to Ancient Russia and have no analogues in the West. Temples under the bell historically have many different architectural solutions, providing great freedom for the architect's creativity.
