Landscaping of the temple territory in the center of Moscow.

Chizhevsky farmstead is an interesting corner of old Moscow, located at the intersection of Bogoyavlensky Lane and Nikolskaya Street. The oldest building of the courtyard is the Assumption Church, built by the Saltykov boyars in 1691. The church stands in the courtyard, and in order to see it you need to enter from Nikolskaya Street into one of the two arched passages. For this reason, despite the immediate proximity of the Moscow Kremlin, many residents and guests of the capital do not know about the existence of this temple. Recently, the parish has begun to hold various cultural events for the guests of Nikolskaya Street. The list of these events is quite extensive: ranging from accordion ditties, contests, fun, traditional sbiten treats, to stories about the history of the Chizhevsky farmstead and missionary work.

This activity of the parish is reflected in this project, where the main idea is to connect the courtyard territory of the parish with the pedestrian Nikolskaya Street. The arched passage from the street to the temple should become more friendly: it is supposed to hang themed posters on its walls with the history of the courtyard and the surrounding area. On the territory of the parish itself, it is planned to install "lighthouses" - a white stone cross and a knocked-down shop with a small belfry (made at the request of the rector). "Lighthouses" will be visible through the arch from the street, which should increase the desire of passers-by to go inside. The knocked-down shop with a belfry does not close the viewpoints on the temple, and is made in the form of a light wooden structure without a capital foundation. The project also provides benches for guests and landscaping of the territory.
